    • From this Tuesday, April 19, 2022, the new health requirements to enter Paraguay come into force. The Protocol establishes that national travelers, foreigners and foreign residents in the country will have to comply with the following requirements:


  • Vaccination certificate against COVID-19
    • Travelers over 12 years of age must present a Vaccination Certificate with a complete scheme to enter the country:
         Complete vaccination schedule: two doses plus the booster dose.
         In the case of a one-dose vaccination schedule: the booster dose should also be available.
    • The vaccination certificate may be in Spanish, English, French or Portuguese and contain the following:
         - name of the passenger
         - date of birth
         - document or passport number
         - Identification of the manufacturer of the vaccine
         - batch number of applied doses and
         - date of application of the dose.
  • Travelers who do not have a vaccination certificate
    • They will present a Negative SARS-CoV2 Test, a requirement for travelers over 12 years of age. Any of these RNA detection techniques is admitted: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT, performed no later than 72 hours before departure.
    • People who already had COVID-19 disease between 10 and up to 90 days prior to entering the country must prove this situation through laboratory results. RNA detection techniques: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT or positive antigen test.
