  • NEW SANITARY MEASURES EFFECTIVE SINCE 21/08/2021

    • *Nationals and foreigners who arrive in the country must complete the electronic health card, present a COVID-19 Negative test result and a vaccination card or certificate. Fill out the Traveller’s Health Declaration Form within the 24hs before the entry to the country (passengers will be required to present the QR code of the Health Declaration Form at the check in), at the following link http://dgvs.mspbs.gov.py/webdgvs/views/paginas/vista_viajeros_nor.html
    • *Vaccinated travelers will have to present their certificate or vaccination card issued by the health authority of the country of origin. Those who have completed 14 days of the last dose of the complete scheme are considered fully vaccinated.
    • *Travelers who are not fully vaccinated will comply with preventive isolation.
    • *All vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers, as well as those who have had the disease, will have to undergo an RT-PCR test on the fifth day of their arrival in the country (to be counted from the day of taking the sample of the test presented when entering Paraguay.
  • Border Crossing
    • *All people entering the country must present to health personnel a test (RT-PCR) with negative result performed no more than 72 hours before admission.
    • *At border points where health personnel are not available, migration staff will apply the requirements in addition to the immigration process.
  • Quarantine or Isolation
    • People who do not submit the test (RT-PCR) must comply with the isolation at their home, hotel or where they set residence.
    • For people who prefer to quarantine elsewhere, health hostels and hotels are available in all departments of the country, made available by the National Government.
