  • NON-RESIDENT TOURIST VISA APPLICATION
    • While extending a cordial greeting, we remind you that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay is implementing a new tool for the application of visas in the non-resident categories online. In this regard, the link to access the digital form is shared: https://www.mre.gov.py/visasenlinea/en/home

Once you have started the visa application process and selected the type of visa you wish to apply for, you will be shown the requirements you must submit. Please note that the consular office and/or the Directorate of Passports and Consular Services of Paraguay may request additional documentation.

The digital form will display the cities in the different countries in which Paraguay has diplomatic and/or consular representation, so that the applicant can choose the office closest to his place of residence to apply for the visa.

The digital form is designed so that no mandatory information is left out by the applicant during the process of filling it out. Once all the required fields have been completed, the visa applicant will receive an email informing them that their application was generated correctly.

It is important to mention that the visa process may take between 25 and 30 business days. Therefore, it is requested that the application be submitted, if possible, 30 days before the intended date of travel to avoid inconveniences and delays.

Once the visa has been approved, the consular officer will get in contact with you to make the payment through a bank transfer to the Embassy's bank account(Hana Bank 166-910007-45132 Account name: Embassy of Paraguay). Please be reminded that the Embassy and the consular office do not accept cash. All payments must be made to the embassy's bank account.

The consular officer will also indicate the date and time to get the visa. On the appointment date, please bring the bank receipt and your passport to get the visa stamped on it. As it is not an e-visa, the consular officer with place the visa sticker on your passport.
