    • SUACE (El Sistema Unificado de Apertura y Cierre de Empresas) is the one-stop service for Unified system of opening and closing of company whose main purpose is to facilitate and to improve the process of opening up new business ventures.
  • Requirements:
    • 1. Identity Documents;
      ID card (Cédula), National Identity Document, if applicable.
      Visa (for countries that require it) should be verified with the corresponding Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paraguay (Address: 14 de Mayo c/ Palma, Asunción).
      If the document is in foreign languages, should be submitted the edited translation version by a public translator registered in the Supreme Court of Justice.
    • 2. Birth Certificate;
      Authenticated by Paraguayan Consulate in the country of origin and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs en Asunción (Address: 14 Mayo c/ Palma, Asunción - Paraguay).
      If the document is in foreign languages, should be submitted the edited translation version by a public translator registered in the Supreme Court of Justice.
      Original and two authenticated copies.
    • 3. Marriage or Divorce Certificates (if applicable, for justification of marital status).
      Authenticated by Paraguayan Consulate in the country of origin and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs en Asunción (Address: 14 Mayo c/ Palma, Asunción - Paraguay).
      If the document is in foreign languages, should be submitted the edited translation version by a public translator registered in the Supreme Court of Justice
      Original and two authenticated copies.
  • Notes:
    • For Brazilians; one (1) of the 2 mentioned certificate is accepted,
      For other nationalities; must present two (2) certificates.
      Documents in Portuguese languages framed within the Agreement of Mercosur do not require translation (Only for Brazil).
      Documents from the country of origin requested as a requirement by the law that authorize the issuance of the same ones to the Embassies and/or Consulates with representation in the Republic of Paraguay, will be admitted with previous legalization from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
    • 4. Criminal Records or Police Certificates from the country of origin or from the country of residence for the last 5 (five) years;
      Certified by Paraguayan Consulate from the country of origin or the country of residence for the last 5 years and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs en Asunción (Address: 14 Mayo y Palma, Asunción - Paraguay).
      If the document is in foreign languages, should be submitted the edited translation version by a public translator registered in the Supreme Court of Justice.
      Original and two authenticated copies.
    • 5. Admission card or stamp in the passport;
      2 authenticated copies.
  • Note:
    • Documents issued from the Paraguay should have dates later than the proof of entry submitted at the moment of requesting any admissions.
    • 6. Health Certificate;
      Legalized by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare (Address: Brasil y Manuel Domínguez, Asunción – Paraguay) referring that the appellant enjoys good mental and physical health without infectious/contagious diseases.
      Original and two (2) authenticated copies.
    • 7. Life and Residence certificate;
      Issued by the local police station or future place of residence.
    • 8. Criminal Records Certificate for foreigners;
      Issued in the Department of Informatics, National Police (Address: Avda. Boggiani y R.I. 2 Ytororó, Asunción – Paraguay. Tel: 021-610525).
      Original + 2 authenticated copies and one simple copy.
    • 9. INTERPOL Certificate;
      Original. It will be used for the request of paraguayan ID card (Cédula) (Address: Coronel Gracia Nº 468 c/ Tte. Rody, Asunción – Paraguay. Tel: 021-480112).
    • 10. Proof of economic solvency;
      Proof or certificate issued by the Under Secretary of Industry and Commerce which could be applied to foreigners qualified for SUACE system with its eligibility and total amount of investment.
      Original and 2 authenticated copies.
    • 11. Affidavit to comply with the Law;
      Realized before Notary Public with signed certificate.
      Original and 2 authenticated copies.
    • 12. Payment of Fees:
      Permanent Residence: Gs.1.216.040 (cost without fine and without change of profession and/or job category).
      Residence Certificate: 121.604 Gs.
    • The presentation of applications for residency should be realized in exclusive form in the Table of Entry of SUACE (Mesa de Entrada del SUACE) of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and in exceptional cases, in Table of Entry of Department of Admission of Central Office of Direction General Direction of Migration (Address: Caballero 201 esquina Eligio Ayala – Asunción, Paraguay).
      La Dirección General de Migraciones podrá requerir cualquier otro documento adicional que considere necesario. La admisión de la solicitud de radicación no presupone la concesión del documento solicitado.
